Crowley's Quest Log

Updates, reflections, creative progress, and behind-the-scenes notes from Crowley's Creative Corner. This is the campfire journal — where the journey gets tracked one step at a time.

Quest Log #2 — Past Me Has Some Explaining to Do  June 2026

Entry Dos. The campfire is still going babyyyy!!!

Alright — Quest Log number two. Spent the week crawling back through my own vault with a lantern, only to discover the single most important map in the whole thing contradicts itself. Three facts. Can't all be true. And — plot twist — I wrote all three.

So that's going great.

Turns out "I'll fix it later" is just "I'll find it at the worst possible moment" in a nicer coat. Still: locked down a couple of reveals, untangled the timeline, and made my peace with the fact that the biggest ongoing threat to this story is, and has always been, a guy named me.

Map's a little more honest than it was. More honest than me, which — given the bar — isn't the flex it sounds like.

Still building. Still here.

Throwing some more logs on the fire.

Hope I see you at the next campfire. 🕯️ ;)

Quest Log #1 — Foundation  May 2026

Entry One. The campfire is just getting started.

Alright — Quest Log number one. If you're reading this, you found the Corner early, and I appreciate that more than you know. I'd say I'm not nervous about anyone actually reading this, but I'd be lying, and the Quest Log is supposed to be honest.

May 2026. The site is up. The pages exist. And I'm sitting here realizing that "the foundation is being built" is the most accurate thing I've ever written about myself.

The big project right now is my book — a High-Fantasy story that I've been building in my head, in my notes, in scattered files, and finally, properly, in an actual system. I have characters with full sheets. A world with six cities, layers, a magic system built on resonance and emotional truth. A main arc — the Corvin/Cult Arc — that I'm genuinely excited about. Themes about family, loyalty, what people do when the price is right, and what it costs to finally look at where you came from.

The honest progress report? The bones are solid. The architecture is there. Actual scenes? That's what Quest Two is going to be about. (My anxiety said to apologize for that. I told it to sit down.)

This entry is mostly just: I started. The Corner exists. The log is open. Which sounds small until you realize how many times I almost talked myself out of it on the walk over. (Anxiety loves a good "maybe just don't" moment. Very classic of it.)

Some quests start with a battle. Some start with sitting down at the table, lighting a candle, and picking up the journal. This one started here.

See you at the next campfire. 🕯️
